On Boston’s North Shore, Marblehead is a vibrant, historic, seaside town, settled in the early 1600s. Our roots are deep in the founding of our country and, as a result, our historic district is home to the largest concentration of pre-revolutionary war homes in America. From our vibrant small-town retail areas to cultural landmarks, like the Marblehead Museum, Marblehead Arts Association and parks and beaches, to great dining, marine services and yacht clubs, Marblehead has a lot to offer during your time off the water. If you are staying at or near any of the clubs, or in the historic district, you will likely park and walk during your time in town as there will be launch access from many points in the harbor.
As beautiful as our town is, it is also small! You should make your housing arrangements as early as possible. Our harbor is home to the Boston Yacht Club, and the Corinthian Yacht Club as well as the Eastern; these are your best room and board options with all three providing exquisite bars and porches, showers and close proximity to launch services to get you and your team where you need to be easily and efficiently.
There are fine hotels and bed and breakfasts in town including the Harborlight Inn, the Marblehead Inn, and many more. The City of Salem is just next door to Marblehead, providing more and larger hotels including the Salem Waterfront and the Hawthorne hotels, and many more listed here.
